Packaging redesign for immy’s core supplement, translating a science-backed product into a clear, trust-building visuals designed to perform across DTC and digital marketplaces like Amazon.

01.

Context

With inventory running low, immy needed to produce 50,000 units in under three weeks for fulfillment through ShipMonk. Instead of rushing a reprint, I led a fast-turn packaging redesign informed by direct customer feedback — balancing speed, clarity, and print-ready execution without disrupting operations.

02.

Strategy

Design packaging that educates quickly and builds trust instantly.
I reworked the packaging system to:

  • Establish a clear visual hierarchy for fast shelf scanning
  • Lead with benefits first, science second
  • Simplify claims without diluting credibility
  • Design with both physical shelf and digital PDP thumbnails in mind
03.

Belief

Packaging is the first conversion moment.

If a shopper doesn’t understand the product in three seconds, they move on. Strong packaging should act as a silent salesperson — creating clarity, credibility, and confidence before a customer ever reads a review or clicks a PDP.

04.

Impact

The redesigned packaging:

  • Improved product clarity across DTC and retail environments
  • Strengthened brand recognition and shelf presence
  • Created a scalable packaging system for future SKUs
  • Supported higher confidence at PDP level through clearer claims and visuals

The result was packaging that worked as hard online as it did in-store.

Supplements don’t fail because they don’t work — they fail because they’re confusing.

My approach was to design packaging that feels calm, credible, and intentional in a category crowded with noise. That meant resisting trends, prioritizing readability, and letting the science speak without overwhelming the shopper.
