Social Media Manager for Kentucky After Dark, a statewide tourism campaign produced with Coomer Agency, leading social execution, community engagement, and content planning for a spooky season series built to spark curiosity and travel interest across Kentucky.

Context

Starting strong is critical when launching a new account.

I evaluated hundreds of episodes and used AI to help identify which stories were most likely to drive early engagement. New accounts benefit from an initial algorithmic lift, and my goal was to capitalize on that window by prioritizing high-impact content first — building momentum before the platform began to normalize reach.

My role spanned end to end social execution, including:

  • Creating hooks and thumbnail language to stop the scroll
  • Writing all captions to entice engagement
  • Responding to every comment and ensuring an immediate brand reply after each post to seed conversation and trust
  • Ranking and organizing episodes by performance and priority
  • Building a content calendar aligned to local events and regional relevance.


I also partnered on reporting — tracking engagement, surfacing insights, and identifying top-performing stories to inform future posting decisions.
